St George and All Saints Church
St George and All Saints is the parish church for the village of Beaford and the surrounding area.
We are committed to worshipping God, prayer, growing as disciples of Jesus and reaching out to our community with God’s love.
Services are held every Sunday at 10.00am with communion normally celebrated on the third Sunday of the month. All are welcome to join us, whether committed Christian, those wanting to explore the faith or those simply in search of something “spiritual”.
As the parish church we welcome residents and those with a connection to the village to make the most of church for baptisms (Christenings), weddings and funerals. The churchyard is open for burial.
We are part of the Two Rivers Mission Community, a group of 11 churches between Torrington, Bideford and Barnstaple. Working together we provide groups for children and youth, support local schools, run homegroups for adults, hold a variety of social activities and support of the vulnerable.
The burden of maintaining a large, historic church building and churchyard as valued community resources is considerable. We are always grateful for offers of help maintaining the building and keeping the churchyard tidy.
